JW Marriott – New Delhi, India

Home away from Home

Room Type: Deluxe Room with terrace
Stay: 4 stays

On most trips touring India you inevitably end up in Delhi and have to stay overnight to get an early flight. We have now stayed at this hotel 3 times, twice for one night and then for 2 nights after leaving Sikkim in a hurry.

I look forward to staying and it has not changed since it opened and after Sikkim it was pure luxury, wonderful beds, big modern bathroom and great western food.  I look forward to the big fluffy bathrobe and lying in bed watching TV with a club sandwich and a glass of wine.

Arrival

Located within the Aerocity the hotel is a few minutes drive from the airport and check in is normal and you are shown to your room.

We always have a deluxe room with terrace on the pool level, modern in style, always clean and the most comfortable bed. A decent size bathroom comes with separate toilet, separate shower, sink and bathtub.

buffet style breakfast in the main restaurant at the Nile Plaza with local delicacies combined with a la carte service and traditional western breakfast fayre with healthy options

We always have room service, I look forward to my club sandwich and breakfast is one of the best buffets in India, huge selection to chose from and very good. The restaurant is always busy but service is never an issue.

Conclusion

The place to stay near the airport. We also did not find it too much of a journey to get into the city for shopping etc.

There are no noise problems from the planes.

We have the best intentions of going for a massage and eating in one of the restaurants but just collapse and relax in the room.
